Dr Mehemet Oz: 4 Steps to Ditching Dad Bod

4 steps to losing dad bodFor the uninitiated, coined by women, the “dad bod” is the body shape of a man that actually makes women not feel too bad about their own bodies and is often used as a term of endearment so that when men have a dad body, it often means they are more focussed on their partner and the family rather than taking care of their own bodeis.

An actual real phenomena, the dad bod in fact might be more appealing to a women who subcontiosuly views this type of physique as more caring and less self-centered but there are health complications that arise from developing this type of bod.

When you have a dad bod you have an extra layer of body fat, and this is caused by the absorption of unhealthy nutrients into the body which irritates the liver and causes the belly to stretch way out.

Or rather this unhealthy diet causes the omentum ( a fold of serous membrane that forms the lining of the abdominal region which connects the stomach with other abdominal organs) stretch pondourously large and you end up with a dad bod.

This causes high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and ultimately heart disease and the only way to know for sure is to measure your waist which must be less than half your height.

Foods to avoid a dad bod:

Step 1 – Avoid White Foods

White foods in general are to be avoided if you don’t want a dad bod, which include:

White breads
White pasta
White marshmallows on cakes
Beer
Pizza

Step 2 – Get Plenty of Sleep

Lack of sleep means you will crave carbs so get at least 8 hours of sleep a night if you can.

Step 3 – Avoid Stress

Stress causes hormonal changes which send signals to the brain that message to us that we have chronic issues like a famine, where in fact your body is hard wired to put weight on when we feel stressed as this extra appetite becomes stored in the belly.

Step 4 – 10 mins of Weight Lifting every other day

Weight lifting is now argued to be the fastest way for men to lose belly fat and constant weight bearing exercises will Dr Oz argues get you closer to your desired body waist measurement.
